Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

                Madden Coach Lines and Tours will make its formal debut to the public in a grand opening celebration on May 4. Several drawings will be held for company giveaways, including a cruise for two to the Bahamas. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will assist with the ribbon cutting beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Renaissance Park.

               Madden Coach Lines and Tours is a travel consultation and motor coach transportation service that specializes in group trips and tours. From leisure trips to family reunions to church outings and vacations abroad, Madden Coach Lines and Tours caters to all types of travel. Through the implementation of specialized payment plans for its customers, Madden endeavors to make traveling a viable possibility for those who would not otherwise be able to afford trips.

               The company, owned by Elizabeth Madden, a former employee of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, operated as a home-based travel agency for three years before moving into the Chamber-managed Business Development Center. Now the company enjoys membership with Nexion Travel Agency, Georgia Motor Coach and Virginia Motor Coach, which help the company book tours and stay abreast of changes in industry policies and procedures. With the purchase of one tour bus and the hiring of five employees, Madden’s company is well on its way to securing a position as a forerunner among Chattanooga’s top travel agencies.
